Intern Spotlight: Liz Guiducci

An incoming senior at Colorado State University, Liz Guiducci started her internship at Converge this June. A business major with double concentrations in marketing and international business, Liz quickly acclimated to the fast-paced environment of Converge’s marketing team. She worked on several projects including the Converge quarterly internal newsletter, quarterly employee recognition program, “Ace Awards”, and the 2023 Women in Supply Chain Award nominations. In addition to her work with internal communications, she supported several other initiatives including events, graphic design, content marketing, and digital marketing for Converge’s social channels and website.headshot of Liz Guiducci

Liz thoroughly enjoyed her time at Converge. “My experience at Converge has been amazing!” she exclaimed. “Everyone is so welcoming and inclusive. I felt like a part of the team the moment I started my internship program.” Her proudest and most rewarding moment during her internship was creating the Q2 internal newsletter, as it allowed her to better grasp the intricacies of the company. Liz stated that it also greatly aided her in elevating her marketing skillset.

When asked what is needed to succeed as a business, industry, or personally, Liz explained that a good support system was necessary. She referred to her teammates as being the reason why she was so successful during her time at Converge. “Liz has been a tremendous pleasure to work with. Her openness to go out of her comfort zone and push herself is very admirable. She has been an incredible asset to the team, and we will miss her!” Converge Senior Marketing Manager, Laura Michael, had to say about her. Annie Grech, Liz’s supervisor, shared similar sentiments. “Liz brings an infectious enthusiasm, can-do attitude, and strong work ethic to every project and assignment she is tasked with. We’ve greatly enjoyed our time working together. She has an extremely bright future ahead!” Annie proudly stated.

Getting to Know Liz

Outside of her professional life, Liz is an avid hockey fan and fly-fishing enthusiast; she can also be found hiking in the mountains with her golden retriever, Piper (pictured below). In response to being asked what was at the top of her bucket list, she responded, “Skydive!” Her one piece of advice for prospective candidates is to “always say yes to opportunities, even if they are out of your comfort zone or interest. Every project is an opportunity to learn something new!”
