New Converge Entity in Hong Kong
This week marks a huge milestone for Converge and the customers we serve — both a celebration and an announcement. The grand opening of our new 30,080 sq. ft. warehouse signifies the completion of the new entity for Converge in Hong Kong: Converge (Hong Kong) Electronics Limited.
This facility will act as our main distribution center, located at Kowloon Bay in central Hong Kong and it will allow Converge to increase our capacity and meet the growing demand in the industry for years to come.
The space includes a 6,000 sq. ft. ESD area and maintains a storage area of the equivalent of 850 pallet positions. We have also installed state-of-the-art advanced inspection tools including in-house X-ray, DECAP, baking oven, and an XRF device.
The structures and facility meet TAPA requirements and are set up for the future expansion of our in-house inspection capabilities.
In addition to space and equipment, this new entity welcomes new Component Quality Engineers and other warehouse staff with additional job opportunities opening in the coming months.

The grand opening ceremony included members of the operations and logistics team, as well as many of our colleagues and partners from Arrow Asia. The celebration featured many local customs and traditions to bring good luck and fortune to this space and team.
