A. Collection and Use of Information

Generally, your personal data is not required for visiting Converge’s Website. Only personal data that you enter voluntarily is collected. Converge, a wholly owned subsidiary of Arrow Electronics, Inc. (“Arrow”) is the sole owner of information collected and will not share, sell, transfer, or otherwise make this information available to others, other than as stated in this Privacy Policy.

  1. URL and ISP Address: Like many other Websites, Converge may collect information about the utilization and navigation of its site by users. This information helps Converge meet the needs of users and continue to improve the site by diagnosing problems and gathering information for aggregate use.
  2. Registration: This site offers subscriptions to newsletters and registration to access various areas of the site that may require your information to proceed. For the information provided, you may receive periodic emails about news and services offered by Converge. Any EU person who is not satisfied with Arrow’s compliance with the EU – U.S.  Privacy Shield may contact Arrow to resolve such complaints at compliance@arrow.com or by sending a letter to the addresses set forth in Section G below. If any EU person believes that such a complaint has not been resolved, he or she agrees first to try and settle the dispute by mediation, administered by the International Centre for Dispute Resolution under its Mediation Rules, before resorting to arbitration, litigation, or some other dispute resolution procedure. Any EU person who remains dissatisfied may contact his or her national Data Protection Authority in the country where the person resides. This Privacy Policy addresses only the use and disclosure of information that Converge collects from you. You should be aware that when you are on the site, you may be directed to other sites that are not controlled by Converge, and that Converge is not responsible for the privacy practices of third parties or the content of such linked sites. Converge takes technical and organizational measures to protect any data you have provided through our site from incidental or willful manipulation, loss, destruction, or access by unauthorized third parties.
