- Vendor managed programs: We research, prequalify and continuously maintain our vendor sources around the globe to ensure that electronic components received are procured from safe and reputable sources.
- Systems controls: We monitor and grade our suppliers on an ongoing basis. This helps us identify any potential problems or concerns early in the procurement process.
- Rigorous inspection process: Products received in our facilities must pass an extensive three-step inspection process before being received and prepared for shipment.
- Visual inspection: Products are reviewed for inconsistencies in packaging, date codes, labeling, ink stamps and material makeup and any visual irregularities.
- Engineering review: Materials identified as questionable during the visual inspection process are reevaluated by Converge’s team of engineers. Periodic product samples are also reviewed to ensure product consistency.
- Testing: Product testing is completed to ensure that any questionable materials meet manufacturers’ specifications. Product samples are also periodically tested to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Continual training: With constant changes in technology and product manufacturing, continual training is provided to Converge inspectors to keep them up-to-date with the latest manufacturing trends, industry best practices and the latest counterfeiting techniques.
